As a manager with Morgan McKinley, Damian focuses on senior finance roles for local and multinational companies within the commerce and industry sector in Hong Kong. Damian has exceptional market knowledge and extensive financial recruitment experience across Asia and Europe. He began his recruitment career in 2002 working for a UK based consultancy where he specialised in sourcing talented finance professionals for the commerce and industry sector. In 2005, Damian took on a senior consultant role with a global recruitment firm and was subsequently promoted to Division Manager with direct responsibility for a team of five staff whilst also acting as Interim-Branch Manager. In 2008, he had the opportunity to relocate to Hong Kong via an internal transfer. Damian has a collaborative approach and receives extremely positive feedback from both clients and candidates who appreciate his industry knowledge as well as his honest and personable manner. Prior to working in recruitment, Damian worked as an analyst for a strategic management consultancy, part of Ernst and Young. He worked closely with investment banks, venture capitalists and corporates and collaborated in a number of due diligence projects and strategic reviews. Damian enjoys travelling and takes a keen interest in the fortunes of Arsenal Football Club. He is also involved in raising the profile of International China Concern, a charity helping children with disabilities in China: www.chinaconcern.org. He holds a degree in History and Business (Consumer Behaviour, Economics and Law) from the University of Surrey.
